This December, Broadway Arts Center will transform the stage into the whimsical world of Whooville for a heartwarming holiday spectacular filled with festive music, unforgettable characters, and plenty of Christmas cheer.
WINTER SHOW
Our winter show is an (Optional) Performance Opportunity for Dedicated dance students to have an additional Chance to be onstage. All Full Season Students Age 3-up are Eligible to Enroll. This performance is NOT included In full season tuition nor part of weekly classes. Participation requires attending roughly EIGHT Saturday rehearsals plus a $150 production fee.

PRODUCTION FEE: $150 per dancer
A production like this represents HUNDREDS of hours preparation from our staff and an Enormous amount of Expenses. The production fee helps cover the Theater rental, Insurance, sound/Light Technicians, staff wages, Utilities, props, costume pieces, music, various Production & Administrative expenses.
Production fees & Tickets ($20) are non-refundable and non-transferable (no exceptions). Tickets are not included.
REHEARSALS - START SATURDAY OCT 17
Students will attend rehearsal on Saturdays Oct 17-Dec 12
(No practice Nov 28)
RECREATIONAL & COMPREHENSIVE DANCERS will be assigned a 20-90 minute Rehearsal time Slot on SATURDAYS which could be scheduled any time between 9:00-2:00. Times will vary week to week Depending on What is being rehearsed that week. Rehearsal schedule will be posted on band and updated (if needed) every Sunday for the following Saturday.
COMPANY & ENSEMBLE CLASSES will Rehearse in class, And join a Saturday rehearsal in December. ( Dec )
ATTENDANCE POLICY
Dance is TEAM sport. With only 8 rehearsals - Attendance is Essential to the success of the show.
Attendance is MANDATORY The first 2 weeks (OCt 17 + 24) of Rehearsal AND the LAST WEEK (Dec 12 rehearsal/parent meeting)
routines are broke down & taught in detail The first 2 weeks. You must attend these 2 days to participate. If you have an Unavoidable Conflict either week - Contact the studio to see if the instructor is Available for a private lessons ($35 each) to catch you up.
Any other absences must be reported in advance. Unreported Absences and/or Multiple Absences may result in being removed from the Production without refund at the studioβs Discretion.
COSTUMES
Dancers will be Provided a Costume to Wear at the Performance. costumes will be put on at the Theater and removed Immediately after the show. costumes are a mix of those in our christmas inventory, and when applicable, some that were purchased for the spring recital. In either Case, all costumes are returned to BAC after the show. Students will need to purchase a Tan Camisole leotard & Tan Tights to wear under their costume.
SHOW WEEKEND
Please hold Dec 19+20 available for possible performances - once enrollment is finalized we will determine how many shows we need, and which day and time your Dancer will Perform in.
Company dancers please hold Friday Dec 18 open for a possible Stage rehearsal.
