AUDITION INFORMATION

WHEN: Sunday July 8 2:00-4:00pm @ BAC  * Only students registered for SPEAKING PARTS need to attend the audition.

WHAT TO PREPARE:  Please prepare to sing the following sections of the Winnie the Pooh song (below) at auditions

PARTS:  We have 16 students auditioning for NINE  "character" parts  (Pooh, Tigger, Etc)  and SEVEN animal narrators. See below for Full list of characters . Not all speaking parts are the same size (You may get 1 line you may get 30)  Directors are looking for students who can speak & sing  with volume, expression and clarity.  Most character parts require solo sining, so we will be looking for strong conifdent singers to fill those roles. The animal Narrators sing in group songs  and do NOT require solo singing.

Competition for parts can be stressful and sometimes disappointing, after all, there can only be one Tigger, or Pooh or piglet.. Accepting cast results gracefully (even when disappointed) is not only an important LIFE lesson - but a vital part of being involved in theater.  We expect all students to eagerly accept whatever part they are given and do their best.  All students (no matter the part) will have plenty to do in camp
